About Me
My love of photography happened by accident. I took a required creative photography class for my Graphic Design major, and it was love at first camera click. Working in the dark room was so fascinating to me! Photography is my escape from the real world.
Current and Past Equipment Used
My first camera was a Canon AE-1 film SLR. It was with this camera that I learned all about photography and the way a camera works. My second camera was a Minolta Dynax/Maxxum 7. I now use a Canon 40D and 350D. My lenses include the Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM, the Canon 70-200mm f/4L IS, the Canon EFS 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM, and the Canon EF 50mm f1.8 II. I LOVE my lenses! I also have a Bogen/Manfrotto 3021BPRO Tripod with a 486RC2 Compact Ballhead. Any extra money I get my hands on goes directly to my photography fund. :o)
Location
My husband and I live in a verrrrry small town in west central Indiana, where I grew up. The landscape is very typical of rural settings - flat, with a lot of corn and bean fields. We do have a lot of covered bridges in this area, and those are always neat to see and photograph. Dying to see more scenic landscapes...
Other Interests
I love watching football, eating chocolate, Photoshop, & photo excursions...
